The True Tale Trail is a Christian family podcast where we hike through the big story of the Bible, follow the footsteps of Jesus, and learn how to walk with God more every day.  New episodes will be released weekly on True Tale Tuesdays!

On the True Tale Trail we teach the Bible through the lens of outdoor adventure because it’s a fun way to get into God’s Word. The Bible is full of nature imagery and stories of people who encountered God in the great outdoors.  Though we’ll talk a lot about hiking, camping and adventuring, what we teach will always point back to Jesus.

Here’s what you can expect in upcoming episodes:

Epic Bible Stories

Some weeks we will tell individual Bible stories that don’t connect to other episodes, but other times we will dive into epic Bible adventures so big it might take months to finish the story.

Animal Expeditions

In some episodes we will head out on animal expeditions and discover what God’s creatures can teach us about Him.

Gear Up

Some weeks we will talk about fun outdoor stuff like flashlights, compasses, binoculars, and s’mores, and see how those things can remind us of what the Bible says.

Campfire Stories

From time to time we will also feature some modern day parables, short fiction that we call Campfire Stories. These will be stories about kids having outdoor adventures that help them learn biblical truth and grow closer to God along the way.
